I don't even know if anyone reads this stuff anymore since me and diary updates are like creed and good music, but since i'm sitting around in a miami campground with nothing better to do, i will regale my huge internet audience with tales of wonder and beauty.

ok, maybe just tales.

yesterday we played at the florida theatre. almost no one was there. except.... oz!

although, as you may know, my favorite "oz" happens to be followed by a "zy" and has since sworn off eating bats, this guy was pretty cool. me and brendan were wandering around gainesville trying to promote the show (and since almost no one came, you can see how successful we were) when we met him. he was wearing a tye dyed shirt (surprise surprise) and had baubles and beads all around his person. he proceeded to give bren a "warrior's handshake" and myself a bow. we were quite intrigued after he told bren that he spent the last like month in new orleans because he couldn't go home for reasons undisclosed. we invited him to the show, along with 3 of his other friends and, since everyone else didn't come that we asked, we assumed he wouldn't either.

we were wrong. they came, danced their heads off, enjoyed our music, and we enjoyed their company. an amusing ending to an amusing day.

ok so i'm not a great storyteller. but i'm the only one with a laptop in this band, so you'll all have to suffer my mediocre storytelling abilities until someone fires me! take that! no, seriously, i'll do better next time. later.
-e.
